We provide secure storage, version control, and editing capabilities for your will documents. You can update your will anytime as your circumstances change.
Will Buddy's AI will generation currently covers Victoria and New South Wales, with other states and territories coming soon. A properly executed will remains legally valid in all Australian states.
We offer customer support, educational resources, and guidance throughout the will creation process. Our service includes chat-based AI assistance for will modifications.
As a user of Will Buddy, you agree to the following responsibilities:
You must provide true, accurate, and complete information about yourself, your beneficiaries, and your assets. Inaccurate information may render your will invalid or ineffective.
You are responsible for ensuring your will complies with local laws and is properly executed according to your jurisdiction's requirements, including witnessing and signing procedures.
You must maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and immediately notify us of any unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activities under your account.
You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use our Service to create fraudulent or malicious documents.
You acknowledge that complex estates or unique circumstances may require professional legal advice. You are responsible for determining when such consultation is necessary.
You are responsible for keeping your will current as your circumstances change, including updates to beneficiaries, assets, and personal information.
Details about your account, subscription options, and billing:
New users receive 3 free AI prompts to explore our service. After the trial, you'll need to choose a paid plan to continue creating and editing your will.
We offer an Annual Subscription ($39 AUD/year) for unlimited edits and versions of your own will (one will per subscription), editing, and storage for 12 months. Your subscription includes a fair-use allowance of 50 AI generations and edits per year; additional credits are available (e.g. 30 for $10).
Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You'll receive email notification 7 days before renewal.
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
Free trial and expired subscription accounts retain read-only access to documents. Annual subscribers maintain full access while subscription is active.
Each subscription includes unlimited edits and versions of your own will (one will per subscription). Additional wills for family members require separate accounts or subscriptions.
Will Buddy is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Our Service uses AI technology to help you create legal documents based on the information you provide.
No solicitor–client (legal practitioner–client) relationship is created between you and Will Buddy. Our Service is not a substitute for professional legal counsel.

Will documents created by our AI are owned by you. You have full rights to use, modify, and distribute your will as needed. We claim no ownership over your generated documents.
Will Buddy's software, AI technology, templates, and systems remain our property. You receive a license to use our Service but not ownership of the underlying technology.
Any feedback or suggestions you provide about our Service may be used by us without compensation to improve our offerings, though your personal data remains protected.
Important limitations on our liability for the Service:
Will Buddy is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Will Buddy's total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees, rights, or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Legal jurisdiction and dispute resolution procedures:
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Victorian courts.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Occasional maintenance and updates may temporarily affect availability.

After termination, you lose access to edit documents but can download existing wills for 30 days. We retain minimal data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
